Being home and not happy about it

I am back from paradise, and trying to figure out a way to live in Cabo for 3 months out of the year while working remotely.  I did absolutely nothing but sit at the pool drinking mango margaritas and mimosas, watched waves crash upon the sands during high tide, took walks on the beach, ate every meal over looking the water, spent four hours in the spa and woke up every morning to the most amazing view.

In between all my extra curricular activities (see above), I also was able to
  • Emotionally cleanse myself of doubt and worry
  • Find a strong spiritual connection
  • Recalibrate my entire energy and chi
  • Forget about the laptop that comes with chains of emails, work obligations, volunteer commitments, etc.
  • Recall how thankful I am for all the blessings I have been granted
  • Forgot about the time that I went on a date and got stood up in the middle of it (yeah, that's right...I said 'stood up' in the middle of it...details later)

Who doesn't want to live on the beach permanently?

  4. I was not there solo. I was there with my best friend of 20 years. We met when I was the new kid in high school. We haven't lived in the same town since I was 18, but we've been as close as sisters and she and I both needed to get away for a bit. If you have the chance to stay at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica in Cabo San Lucas, GO. Do not hesitate. Best beach hotel ever.

  5. Can't wait to hear about this stupid date that left you in the middle of it. What an idiot.

This is a great list. :)

  6. You have just described my perfect holiday..I felt like I was there the way you described it. I'm a bad comer homer so I can totally sympathize. I always have a built in treat waiting for me the 1st week back to reality...treat yourself to something to ease the pain. Welcome home!
