Heat stroke

What living in Texas means on an overcast early afternoon.

And my house A/C Unit blew out yesterday.
Summers in Texas mean awesomeness.

I need to go find an iceberg.
To go spread myself all over.
Naked.

A/C Tech promises to be here today.
Though, I've been waiting approximately 25 hours and 19 minutes . . .

. . . not to be exact or anything.

  2. Yesterday I set out to run 3 miles starting at 9 AM thinking it wouldn't be "too" hot yet. I was SO wrong! I almost died from heat stroke at the end of mile two. I tried and tried to keep going, but there was no way I was going to be able to make it because I felt like I was going to be sick. I felt so defeated afterwards and was literally mad at the sun! Did you know Wichita Falls made CNN because of the heat??!?! I can only imagine how you're feeling living without A/C. Ours went out for 4 hours one night and by some miracle kicked back on around midnight that night and has been fine ever since (knock on wood). I hope yours is fixed by now! Or you've at least found that iceberg!
