Glamour magazine has a section called Hey, It’s Okay and will list a bunch of things to be okay about. You're welcome to join in and do something like this on your diary. Doesn't have to be on a Tuesday either.
... It's OK that I still feel good about leaving some arsehole boy standing on a corner alone on Saturday as I turned around and walked away after telling him to sit on in an spin.
... It's OK that I didn't get the house I originally wanted to purchase because of structural deficiencies. Another one will find me.
... It's OK that I am laughing out loud at the fact that Xtina got arrested recently. Even though Hollywood beats celebs up and it's mean of me to patronize their situations, it makes us realize that we tend to over-glamorize celebs.
...It's OK that my next reality TV addiction with be Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew only because I heard Micael Salahi (White House Party Crasher and RHODC) will be on this season's cast. Alcohol problem? Pill popper? Eating disorder? Perpetual liar? I'm already hooked.
...It's OK that I still cannot comprehend the devastating loss Japan has had to endure over the last few days. I believe in a Higher Power. But, I can't wrap my head around THE WHY factor. Why did this happen? Why were so many lives taken at once? Why were whole villages swept away? Why do people have to suffer? Why? Why? Why? Someone please give me a good answer. My miniscule brain just cannot fathom.
It's OK that I am going to be attending a wedding in April. And to be exact, I will be a guest of the MOOSE - HISCOCK wedding. Yes. You read that right. Even the soul booking my hotel room (when giving the name of the wedding party for reservation discounts) had to put me on hold while he "composed" himself before carrying on with our reservation booking.
It's OK that the Adele album has gotten me through some stressful (and demented) work days. I've listened to it on my iTunes playlist on repeat 16 times yesterday. That's gotta be a record.
